Your participation was crucial in this initiative, and we are incredibly grateful for your commitment to our cause. Throughout the voting process, we found ourselves in a competitive three-way battle for votes alongside two esteemed local schools. While we extend our warmest congratulations to them on their well-deserved awards, we are proud to announce that we secured third place. This achievement, though not the top spot, will still enable the PDAC Development Programme to thrive and continue its mission of providing free angling events to the local community throughout 2025, thanks to the generous £500 award we received.
We are excited to share that the free angling events, which are supported by the Angling Trust and funded through the Stronger Starts initiative in partnership with UK Groundwork, have now been officially confirmed for the upcoming months of April, July, and September.
