We are thrilled to share the exciting news that the PDAC (Petersfield & District Angling Club) is proudly supporting the local charity MOTIV8 by organising a special Charity event at the picturesque Harting Combe on April 25th and 26th. This noteworthy occasion marks our first confirmed event for the upcoming 2025/6 season, and we are eager to kick off the season with such a meaningful initiative that aims to make a positive impact in our community.
MOTIV8 is an exceptional local charity dedicated to fostering safer communities where young individuals feel inspired and empowered to realize their full potential. The organisation focuses on supporting not only young people but also their families by building trusting relationships that enable them to develop vital skills, resilience, and opportunities. As part of our commitment to this cause, the club will be hosting a 24-hour Charity Pairs Carp match at Harting Combe, designed to raise essential funds for MOTIV8.
This exciting event is scheduled to run from Saturday, April 26th, at 12:00 PM until Sunday, April 27th, at 12:00 PM. It is open to all PDAC members, but please note that participation is limited to only six pairs to ensure an intimate and engaging experience for everyone involved.
The entry fee for each pair participating in this charitable event is set at £25. In addition to the entry fee, each pair is required to raise a minimum of £125 in sponsorship funds. These funds must be submitted to the event organiser by the deadline of Friday, April 25th.
As an added incentive, the winning pair of the match will be rewarded with a prize of £200, making the competition even more thrilling!
