We warmly invite all members to join us on Sunday, 2nd March, at the picturesque Harting Combe for the highly anticipated John Clarke Memorial Match. This special event we shall honor the memory of our dear friend and fellow angler, John Clarke, who left a lasting impact on everyone he encountered.
Please note that participation in this match is limited to 16 anglers, ensuring an intimate and engaging experience for all. The entry fee for the pools is set at £20, which 50% will contribute to the charitable cause we are supporting.
John had been a devoted member of our club for many years, during which time he forged countless friendships through his passion for fishing. Those fortunate enough to know him can attest to his remarkable talent as an innovator in the world of fishing gadgets.
John was a steadfast supporter of the club, often seen at matches, events, and work parties. His presence will be deeply missed, but this match serves as a fitting tribute to his memory.
